Jay Smith's Ginger Beer Cocktails

Ginger Halliwell (Formerly Prohibition Punch)
  • 1 ½ oz Gin or Vodka
  • 2 Dashes Lavender Bitters
  • 2oz Simple Syrup
  • 3-5oz Zig A Zig Ahhh
  • Lime Wheel Garnish
- Fill a 10oz Old Fashioned (Lowball Glass) with ice
- Add Gin (or Vodka), Bitters, Simple Syrup to glass
- Top w/ Zig a Zig Ahhh & Stir
- Garnish w/ Lime Wheel

Zig A Zig Mule (Formerly Kentucky Mule)
  • 2 oz Bourbon or Mezcal
  • 3oz Lemon-Lime Syrup (or Lemon-Lime Soda)
  • 5oz Zig A Zig Ahhh
  • Lime Wedge
- Fill a 12oz Copper Mug w/ Ice
- Add Bourbon & Lemon-Lime Syrup to Glass
- Top w/ Zig A Zig Ahhh & Stir- Garnish w/ Squeezed Lime Wedge

Dark & Sporty (Formerly Dark & Stormy)
  • 1 ½ oz Dark Rum
  • 1oz  Simple Syrup
  • 3-4oz Zig A Zig Ahhh
  • 2 Meyer Lemon Wedges
  • Cinnamon Stick
- Fill 10oz Old Fashioned (Lowball Glass) w/ Ice
- Add Rum, Simple Syrup, Squeezed Lemon Wedges
- Top w/ Zig A Zig Ahh & Stir- Garnish w/ Cinnamon Stick

The Posh (My Personal Spin on a Manhattan)
  • 2 oz Rye
  • 1oz Sweet Vermouth
  • 2 Dashes Orange Bitters
  • 1oz Cherry Syrup
  • 3oz Zig A Zig Ahhh 
  • 2 Luxardo Cherries
- Fill a Martini Glass w/ Ice Water & Set Aside- Once properly chilled, remove ice water from Martini Glass
- Swirl glass w/ Vermouth- Add Rye, Bitters, & Cherry Syrup to Iced Cocktail Shaker
- Shake & Strain into prepared Martini Glass
- Top w/ Zig A Zig Ahhh
- Garnish w/ Speared Luxardo Cherries.
