The black-crowned night heron is a ubiquitous bird with a locally prestigious title. These birds live year-round in the Bay Area, with the largest rookery right here in Oakland. You'll find them frequently around Lake Merritt but their resilience in the urban jungle of Downtown Oakland led them to be named the official bird of Oakland, CA.
Hopped exclusively with Nelson Sauvin this bright, light lager is highlighted with aromas of cucumber and honeydew melon followed by refreshing notes of apple and lemon citrus- perfectly balanced with slight sweetness and approachable bitterness. 5.2% ABV.
