Also known as the Heller Bock, this beer was first brewed in the town of Einbeck in Lower Saxony. This popular style was later adopted in Bavaria and beer drinkers in Munich would pronounce 'Einbeck' as 'ein Bock,' which translates to 'Billy Goat.' Thus, the Bock was born and the Billy Goat became the official motif of the Maibock.
This classic malty German lager has bright, biscuit-y and graham cracker aromas with very subtle herbaceous and floral hop character undertones. Slightly sweet, slightly bitter, very drinkable! 6.5% ABV
